Arizona Maternity Photographer

Every single time I am around a mom-to-be I start getting major baby fever. Like big time. 

I was super excited an old childhood friend invited me to do this shoot with her. Since moving back, it has been incredibly hard to continue to turn down clients back in New York, asking to book a wedding, a family shoot, and newborn shoots. While I am here trying to get my feet on the ground and establish myself as a photographer in a new area. A lot of people find their photographers by word of mouth. Being new to an area presents a whole new list of challenges. I will get there but it is so not easy! It is not supposed to be easy though, right? Like all great things, you have to work your butt off for it and make it happen. I am doing just that. I have found Katie to be a great mentor in get my name out there as an Arizona Photographer. It is a blessing to be surrounded by such supportive people and I truly appreciate all of my people. 

We were tucked away in the gorgeous Arizona desert, somewhere in North Scottsdale,

with these two beautiful mamas who have the most impeccable style. Everything about this shot was a photographers dream. From their outfits to their make up and their wonderful personalities. It was such a great evening for a shoot. A lot of clients feel nervous in front of the camera and it is our job, as photographers, to ease the nerves, and make them feel comfortable. These ladies did not seem nervous in the slightest. They are naturals and one would think they are models, as they probably should be. So now I am obsessed with maternity shoots as well as couples and wedding and nature and children as well as documentary.
